AMIGA consortium is glad to announce that the second AMIGA Summer School will take place in the week of 19 – 22 October 2015 in Nitra, Slovakia and hosted by the Slovak Agricultural University of Nitra.

Organised by Teagasc, 2015 Summer School will focus on Environmental Risk Assessment (ERA) of GM crops. The school will include a series of content-specific lectures provided by AMIGA consortium with the task of providing an overview of the fundamentals of ERA for GM cropping. Specifically, students will receive training in designing, executing and analysing small scale field trials (e.g. including conformity with EFSA guidance) and applying problem formulation as a strategy for ERA.

Participants will have the opportunity to follow case-by-case study, experience practical work and visit maize field trials in Nitra, as part of the AMIGA research activity.

Registrations will be soon open (early-career researchers, i.e under-/post-graduate students, post-docs, are invited to apply).
